Come With Me Now   by Kongos

Two brothers shook hands: well met as brothers should be.

Neither of these two recognized the other until their hands touched and they met eyes.

Then they saw each other for whom they truly were.  One had killed the other, and that one withdrew his hand from the other in disgust.

The Chairman of them Purple Robes watched this happen.

He’d known that he was part of a triangle of power, but now, he understood that he held the upper hand in this new game.

The other two immediately hid their shock and turned back to the Chairman.

He smiled.  He said, “Good to see you two together again.  Now, we have some considerations.  The behavior of the maid means that we are under attack.  We need to talk, but not here.  Follow me.  Kendal, come.”

The bodyguard who followed these three said, “Locked and loaded, Chairman Hegan.  No harm will come to you three men.”

Several floors above, Emeralda finished breast feeding her baby and then dressed him in clean clothing.  She understood that time was of the essence.  It was locked into her  DNA from her culture that a woman must always be prepared for the worst.  How sad to enjoy a life of great wealth with a cloud as dark as doom hovering overhead.

She packed up the go-bags in her walk-in closet and her eyes began to moisten.  She coughed hard and stuffed all emotion down deep.  Now was not the time to be weak.  She would protect her children.

Emeralda finished packing them bags for her baby; for her young daughter at a sleep-over off the estate at a friend’s home, and for herself.  She carried an adult passport, stacks of high cash, and of course, clothing.

She would need to be very quiet as she left.

A fortress is a tomb unless there are avenues for escape for those inside.  These must remain hidden and unknown from possible infiltrators, or worse yet: sabotage.

Someone had attacked their fortress form inside, and this meant that no one was safe there.

She would let the men attend to what it is best that men do: War.

She would follow her instincts and protect her children.

In her mind, Emeralda considered the differences between the old life she once lived in Armedmenia and the one she shared now with the new Purple Robes there in that ugly megalopolis of Fuckno.

This new land afforded wealth where the old one held true to their belief system.  Call it religion, call it connection to the land or call it their own Truth,

well, the old ways would protect her now.   The prophesies in her old ways were many, and a new one was unfolding, as it would.  The outcome looked grim.

In this one, there would be a plague of the dead and dying, and the ones who would feed on the flesh of the living.

Emeralda did not know the great amount of accuracy that this new prophesy held, nor did she know how much of it had already occurred.

She would soon find out, as she left.

Prenup to Emeralda for this weekend

Emeralda knew.

Never doubt the mind of a woman.

Never, ever doubt her heart.

Erase/Rewind   by The Cardigans

She knew that her husband was weak.  What is it about a woman that allows her to let her man remain in such a sad condition even she could be endangered?

A woman nurtures.

A man protects.

It’s in the DNA...

Yet...

When her offspring encounters danger,

...the mother bear will attack.

Emeralda waited for her man to leave her alone with her baby and then she got ready for the worst thing that could happen.

She knew…

One day,

…she would be left alone with her children.

 To fend for herself,

…and for the baby in her arms.

The next part, this weekend, will be quite long, and it is evidently supposed to be titled:

+   +   +   =   +  +

God Help You, Dear Reader.

And God Help this poor bastard fighting his characters.

Go ahead, Emeralda, do what you will.

No more Rrrrgh from the likes of me…

…if also there will be no more flagrant and spurious ellipses from you.

Cool?

Cardiac Arrest   by Bad Suns

Emeralda held her baby to her breast when her man left.  Was that her fate?  Let the men do the work while the women worry?

She did not consider this.  From her birth until she found this man, she would never let a single fact escape her notice.

Her man awakened her with a nudging from below, and spoke to her in a new accent,

…strange accent, but familiar.  It was from the south of America.

She was in danger and she understood this.

Even though the mansion burned, she knew something even deeper: the end times had come.

It was in the prophesies, the stories told to her from the old country.

THEME

When We’re On Fire   by Lo Fang

VERSION ONE

Emeralda loved her man Wahunt.  She was from the old country, but he was not.

This was why she was shunned by the tribe of them Purple Robes, there in that desolate land called “Fuckno.”

She awoke one fine Saturday to the fire alarms ringing in her head, and her immediate instinct was to protect her baby.  She was a good mother.

She was also a good partner to her

EMERALDA’S VERSION

Sunlight.

Warmth.

Crisp, clean white sheets.

The scent of freshly cut flowers placed in crystal vases before she awoke…

The sound of slumber from two whom she held close…

…in their bed, their nest, their haven against the world outside.

Such safety.

For how much could a lady wish?

She held this close to her.  She always had.

Yet,

It slipped from her fingers

…even before her eyes opened.

Emeralda.

This her tale.

+   +   +   +    =   +  +

Birds chirped in her ears, but they were quite loud.  Who had left the windows opened to their screech?

The faint scent of burning wood and chemicals stung her nose.

Emeralda awoke with her man caressing her with his fingers on her shoulder and nudging her backside from below.

Her baby slept on her other side, under her arm, under her wing.  She had clasped their infant close to her just now in her wakeful slumber,

…to protect him.

From what?  From whom?

God Help You,

…as we head off into another direction.

THE CHAIRMAN Part Two

The Chairman would become a Walk-In, at the end.  He saw what this might afford him, for power when the tiles, them runes, turned and he saw that all was about to be lost.

He knew it from the runes of the Armedmenia.

But before that, this was what he faced before him, during that bright morning when the Purple Mansion was burning.

……………

Well, damn.

Evidently, the character Emeralda needs to have a voice.

Rrrrrgh.

Fighting with the tale again.

I know which way this should go next, but

Damn.

So here’s her theme and I need to stop inserting chapter headings and just friggin roll with it.

That’s what I will do.  No more chapter headings.  Just let them have their way with me.

Emeralda will have her backstory.

THE CHAIRMAN

THE

CHAIR

MAN

The Chairman now held control of them Purple Robes, and he knew that he did.

So,

now,

he beheld two brothers in front of him whom he recognized as strangers to each other, and this was how they regarded him.

They behaved as brothers who’d never before met.

How odd?

The Chairman understood his opportunity here in this moment, this space, in that Lilac Mansion.

He could guide these aliens into their proper places, and in doing so, he might navigate the course for them all,

...in these dark, uncharted waters.

He would arrive at the island of riches alone, with great treasure.

Here is his theme.

Dangerous   by Big Data

Young Prince Richard was a druggie who’d gone unconscious in the Heroin Hotel, and then become inhabited by the original Cannibal Walk-In whom we know and love as Sven.

Young Prince Richard owed money to the one who provided it from his hidden stash, and he was Christopher The Chauffeur.

This man had wanted only one thing, which was to earn enough cash to pay them coyotes to bring his woman across the border.

But he had been killed by the evil Sven.

And after visiting the dark heart of Fuckno, he had come back into the body of the eldest son, who’d lain asleep, unconscious, next to that man’s wife: the lovely Emeralda.

Christopher had Walked-In to the eldest son’s body, and his name was Wahunt.

He was now supposed to be the King of them Purple Robes.

He just didn’t know it yet.

He did not know what power he held, and what this meant.

The Chairman did.  But he understood that them Purple Robes, in their hidden churches all across the map of Fuckno, well, they had orchestrated the rise of the youngest son, Prince Richard, to encounter and partake of evil, in order to overthrow the eldest son, Wahunt.

Wahunt was in love with lovely Emeralda.

Wahunt was not meant to be King.

Got it?

Good.

BETA do not read

Here is the secret of the whole tale.  There was a hero indeed.

It was not me, nor was it my brothers in arms, no matter how hard we would fight.

It was the evil man.  It was only he who could overcome our enemy, the enemy of us all.

You know, this was not due to any sort of sudden change of heart on his part.  That is a trick, and you, Dear Reader, deserve better than that.

It was simply that he was more evil than them Purple Robe bastards.

This is how it ends.

The arc is easily told, and stolen.

Then sold.

Then fucked up beyond all recognition.

But you know, my friend, that I will come looking for you if you steal from the likes of me.

The telling of the tale is something that is owned by the teller of the tale.

Owned.

Would you like to follow along as we see what the story has to show you?

Are you in for some really bad things?

It may tear your heart out.

It may eat away at you.

The intelligent cannibal Sven simply cannot be put down.

This is for l…

Let’s delve, shall we?

Good.

I knew that you would say YES.

Country Heroes   by Hank Williams the third

While we damned punks stood in our disparate shadows, we had not recognized that the body of the utility worker had become inhabited by Sherry.

Last mention of the Utility Worker is from here:

She perished in that small room, with a knife in her throat from the evil cannibal Sven.

She floated, as Walk-Ins are able to do, to find a new person to inhabit.

She found Patrick Till-Bury, the utility truck driver and utilitarian, and she welcomed the effect of being alive.

But she was hidden from us.

Her intent was on the killing of Sven.  It was because of the death of her soul-mate, Lenny Sustenuto.

He had a hole in his cheek from a bite from the newly Walk-In lover of Lenny Sustenuto: Sherry, (who had inhabited the maid Shelly) and Sven had burned her to death in the servants’ quarters.

That was the question that the new friend asked him, as the eldest son of the Purple Robes Family came down the stairs on the other side of their fortress.

Christ-Offer said to his supposed younger brother:

“You must be in pain.  Your cheek is missing flesh.  Would you like me to call an ambulance?”

Sven said, “No.  I am used to pain.  And soon you may be as well.  We are heading into a dark part of life.”

VERSION ONE

The séance that brought the chauffeur Christ-Offer into the Walk-In realm was hidden from the help, there at the mansion with the purple marble on its façade.

But there were those who escaped that horrible event.

They rang the alarm for the army of Purple Robes.

You know about the result of the debacle, for them new Walkins, but remember this:

Christopher had awakened in the body of the eldest son as that man slept next to his beautiful wife and child.

From here:

He held full power of them Purple Robes although he did not yet understand the weight and breadth of such potential, and what it could mean to the rest of the river valley of Fuckno.

Now we need to return to Sven, the Original Cannibal Walk-In who now inhabited the young druggie Prince Richard, who found himself in a new puzzle.

VERSION TWO

The eldest brother turned to face his wife before he left her.  He said, “Honey, we are under attack.  You will be protected, and I will help my father.  Never doubt that I will return to you.”

He showed her a strong face, for that is what you do for those you hold dear before you face imminent danger.

Even if you don’t believe it yourself.

And that there, my friend, is true courage.

Especially when you don’t know what the fuck is going on.

Emeralda closed the door after him, and she held fear in her heart for her husband’s safety.  She did not admit, even to herself, that she feared for the well-being of their children, and for her own safety, because her husband had just spoken to her in English with a Messican accent, instead of Armedmenian.

What had happened to him?

Emeralda knew only one thing.  She would have to trust Wahunt to return to her and their baby.  She understood that he operated in manners and arts that she shunned.

How far will a woman trust a man?  What is the depth of forgiveness for evil work?

W A H U N T

Vissi d’arte from Tosca by Puccini sung by Angela Gheorghiu

Sven stood up with the help of his new compatriot.  He understood that he had Walked-In to a new soul, and he knew that it was someone who’d been born into a family of extreme wealth and great power, but he did not have any notes written on the score before him.

He would need to utilize all of his mental wit to navigate the blank chart.

Uncharted waters indeed.

Christ-offer (who was now Wahunt) held his younger brother Prince Richard’s face in his hands.  One of his brother’s eyes was filled with blood from the missing eyebrow.

Christopher did his best to hide his Messican accent.  He did it by screaming.

He said, “What has happened to your beautiful face?  Bleeding in your eye!  There is a hole in your cheek!  Who has done this?!”

Sven muttered, “She bit me.  She caused the fire.”

The Eldest Prince hugged his young brother and said, “She will pay!”

Sven said, “She is gone.”

Here is the part of the tale where these two Walk-Ins became informed about each other.

You see, when a Walk-In connects to another Walk-In, then their combined knowledge from Walking-Into-Others combines their knowledge.

Well, until one of them eats the other one, that is.

Sven Woke Up

Join us now as we return to the other side of the fight, would you be so kind?  Let’s check out that Walk-In cannibal Sven, cool?

Sleeping   by Santo and Johnny

Sven once awoke in a Heroin Hotel and he had his own kind of fun there.

He almost wished he could return to that previous night.

But,

You know, my friend, that Sven was always up for a new game.

The sun glared at a low angle though the trees of the manicured landscape.  The dark purple shirt grew warm on his back in the cold desert air.

He looked ahead to west, at the rear of the mansion before him and his new protector who sat next to him, and he re-assessed his shituation.

Smoke wicked out of the blown-out windows from the servants’ quarters.

He was the reason for the explosion,

…its furnace,

and

…the fresh dead.

He coughed combusted chemicals from his lungs as he sat by his new friend on a wide flat rock in a backyard of the Purple Mansion.

He recognized the insignia lined in a marble fresco on the wall before him.

He’d stuffed a cigarette lighter in the pocket of his pants that would gleam with the same insignia, if he brought it out and showed it to his new compatriot.

There were two of those lighters he’d pilfered from the bodies of the young druggies in the Heroin Hotel before he set it ablaze, in the dark heart of Fuckno…

…the night before this new blaze in the morning.

Sven got it together.

He recognized, indeed.

He had killed some young ones there who lived here.

Yet, nobody here knew that he had done such a thing.

Yet.

He began to appreciate a new understanding, for as you have seen, he was quite quick on his feet.

It was this:  He had little time, but while that small clock ticked, he had some time.

Time for what?

To kill?

To eat?

Those were his ever present, ever prescient primal urges, and yet, these things would not serve him well for his presence at this moment.

It took him few seconds to make an executive decision.

He would not give up.

Isn’t that the best thing for one to do?

Never say die.  Never give up.  Never throw your hands up in the air and let go of the steering wheel during a car crash.

Maybe you can steer yourself to less danger: to a tree instead of a cliff.

Now, we should revisit the older brother who held court in the upstairs of this huge estate.  He was the one in charge.

That man was heading down the stairs in the other wing of the burning mansion, surrounded by security.

See you next time.

It will be very soon.

(Sven been knocking at the bedroom window.)
